Soy needs to be cooked before eating. Place them in boiling, salted water and cook for 5 minutes. Then cool them in ice water. Drain and pop them out of the pod, season and eat.
You can season them with: Salt, Curry powder, Chinese 5 Spice or Curry Powder, Soy sauce, lemon juice, or toasted sesame oil. Top with toasted sesame seeds or other nut
